Koyel Bhattacharya is an Indian Classical Vocalist in the Hindustani music tradition. She started her learning from home, under the tutelage of her mother Smt. Kanta Bhattacharya in Gwalior Gharana. She also learns from legendary Pt. Manas Chakraborty in Kotali Gharana. Presently She is learning from her Guru Ustad Rashid Khan in Rampur Sahaswan Gharana.

Koyel is acknowledged by her skilful khayal performances as she adopted the Rampur Sahaswan style of singing, which features medium-slow tempos, a full-throated voice and intricate rhythmic play. She also exceptional expertise in the use of Sargam, Taankari, and Tarana. She has a unique tonal quality and singing style.
